The trending challenge in twitterverse is the #don'tjudgechallenge where teens post clips of them looking unattractive, "fake" and then revealing their true beautiful selves. Participating teens have to cover thier faces in "uni-brows", acne, glasses and more before unveilling their gorgeous looks-and this has got some people worried. They are supposed to be preaching a "don't judge a book by its cover" message. The thing is, in as much as the challenge has gone viral, it has also recieved an equal amount of backlash from people who feel that the message being preached is lost in its execution. While some say that these teens are further molding society's unfair standard of beauty, others, including us here at AFWL say its just another harmless social media trend that will pass in due time.
